Manager – Supply chain Management

We are looking for a highly experienced SCM / Purchase Manager to manage procurement and supply chain activities for our Special Purpose Machine (SPM) manufacturing operations at our Mysore facility. The candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing environments and a good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication, and machine building processes.

• Manage end-to-end procurement of manufactured parts and mechanical bought-out components.
• Develop and manage a reliable vendor base for fabrication, machining, and mechanical components.
• Review Mechanical drawings and coordinate with design and production teams for material planning and procurement.
• Perform cost estimation and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Coordinate closely with the production team for timely machine building and material availability.
• Ensure quality standards for all purchased and manufactured components.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement planning.
• Oversee shop floor coordination related to materials and supply chain activities.
• Maintain supplier performance records and improve vendor quality and delivery timelines.

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and machine building.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in cost estimation and vendor negotiations.
