Proposal Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Study customer RFQs, specifications, and technical requirements
2. Collaborate with design, application, and engineering teams to develop feasible machine 
   concepts using  Solidworks 3D model.
3. Identify the right and Cost effective component (e.g., Machine Element, actuators, 
   motors, sensors, PLCs) and ensure technical compatibility.
4. Estimate machine cycle time, throughput, and performance metrics
5. Prepare accurate cost estimations based on concept design, components, bought-outs, and man-hours to build machine
6. Develop preliminary BOM (Bill of Materials) with Costing, in coordination with the 
   engineering team
7. Create and Submit techno-commercial proposals,
8. Participate in technical discussions or clarification meetings with customers
9. Visit the customer site whenever required

DESIRED PROFILE

• Sound knowledge of CAD software (Auto CAD & Solid works) is must.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, construction methods and assembly 
  techniques will be an added advantage.
• Team handling experience.
• Self driven go better

5-7 years.
