We are looking for a experienced Engineer/ Sr. Engineer - Purchase with 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing / machine-building environment to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our Special Purpose Machine (SPM) manufacturing operations at our Mysore facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding of mechanical components, machining, fabrication, sheet metal, welding, and machine-building processes, along with hands-on experience in vendor development, cost estimation, negotiation, purchase planning, and material follow-up.

• Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical manufactured parts, fabricated components, machining parts, manufactured parts and mechanical bought-out components.
• Develop and manage a reliable vendor base for fabrication, machining, and mechanical components.
• Review Mechanical drawings and coordinate with design and production teams for material planning and procurement.
• Perform cost estimation and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Coordinate closely with the production team for timely machine building and material availability.
• Ensure quality standards for all purchased and manufactured components.
• Release purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials as per production and project requirements.
• Track open purchase orders and proactively follow up with vendors to avoid delays.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement planning.

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, and machine building.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in cost estimation and vendor negotiations.
